ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE

How it Works

The IM is helping to unravel the mystery of rhythm and timing and their importance in human performance.

The program uses an auditory guidance system with interactive exercises to accurately measure and improve a person’s timing, concentration, focus, coordination, reading/math fluency and mental processing speed. It is the only program shown to improve cognitive as well as the physical skills essential for learning and development.

Interactive Metronome (IM) Powered Training can give your child the edge he or she needs. Reduce study time and effort. Control self talk, distractions and pressure. Get in “the Zone” for competitions and tests. Used by many leading academic institutions as well as high school, collegiate and professional sports organizations – because it works!

Training your brain to win

Typical brain - Pre-IM
  • Inherent inefficient neurological pathways

  • Increased distractability & inattention

  • Hindered concentration & focus

  • Susceptibility to emotional triggers

  • Slower processing speed & reaction time

  • Reduced coordination & motor planning

Brain Post-IM Powered Training
  • Precise repetitive motions cause brain to change & learn

  • New & more efficient pathways are utilized

  • Focus & concentration improved

  • Improved mental processing

  • Improved timing

Key Areas of Impact

Focus & Concentration
  • Ability to "turn on" focus when needed

  • Ability to focus for long periods of time

  • Ability focus when conditions challenge attention span (fatigue, stress, pressure)

Mental Processing
  • Improved processing speed - quicker reaction time, academic fluency

  • Improved organization and filtering of information

  • Enhanced planning and sequencing

  • Reduced impulsivity in performance

Timing
  • More precise movement

  • More consistent movement

  • More efficient movement

  • Improved planning and sequencing
